Mission Statement

The Marcus Anderson Foundation (MAF) empowers youth through music, mentorship, and leadership development. We create access to instruments, education, and opportunities that inspire the next generation of changemakers.

Committed to nurturing the next generation of talent, MAF supports the MAJACE Music Festival, offers scholarships to college students, and donates instruments to aspiring musicians. Our mission also includes expanding access to expert education in STEAM fields for students and adults through both online and in-person programs. We proudly invest in arts-based leadership and personal development initiatives that cultivate creativity, build confidence, and empower individuals to thrive in their communities.

Marcus Anderson

Twice Grammy and Stellar Award-nominated, Marcus Anderson, is more than just a saxophonist—he’s a musical force whose brilliance continues to shine brightly among the industry’s elite. With 18 studio albums and five Billboard #1 hits, Anderson masterfully fuses Jazz, R&B, Pop, Rock, and Funk to transport audiences into an entirely new musical dimension.
